Connect a WordPress site (plugin, WordPress login or CSV)
A connected WordPress site shows up in Websites, where you can log in to wp-admin with one click, manage plugins and themes, run updates, check uptime and set up backups. You can connect a site in three ways: install the plugin yourself, give Xagio your WordPress login, or upload a CSV for many sites at once.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need admin access to the WordPress site.
- Every Xagio plan allows unlimited websites. If your account shows “You have reached your number of allowed installs. Please consider upgrading your membership.”, contact support.
Connect by installing the plugin yourself
Section titled “Connect by installing the plugin yourself”- In WordPress, install and activate the free Xagio plugin (search for “Xagio” under Plugins > Add New, or download it from wordpress.org/plugins/xagio-seo).
- Follow the plugin’s connect screen. It opens the Xagio panel.
- Sign in to Xagio if asked, then confirm the activation.
The site appears in Websites once it is connected. For the plugin side of this flow, see Install and connect the Xagio plugin in WordPress.
