What every action costs in Xags
This page lists what each paid action costs in Xags. Actions not listed here are free. To see what you have already spent, open Credits & Usage.
How charging works
Section titled “How charging works”- Xagio spends your xRenew first, then your xBanks. See How Xags work.
- Some actions check your balance first and charge only when data comes back. Others charge when you start them. Each line below says which, where it matters.
- Where Xagio can tell you the price before you run an action, it does. AI actions show an average price, and Agent X shows the total for you to confirm.
- Prices can change. This page shows the current prices.
Keyword research and Project Planner
Section titled “Keyword research and Project Planner”These prices apply in the panel and in the WordPress plugin.

- Niche Hunter: you are not charged if no data comes back.
- Site audit: charged only when ranking data comes back.
- Search volume, CPC and competition: charged when you start the lookup.
AI features
Section titled “AI features”AI suggestions, AI content, AI clustering, AI schema and the Front-end AI Assistant cost 0.02 Xags per 1,000 tokens, multiplied by the price factor of the prompt you use. Before you run an AI action, Xagio shows the average price for it (“Average price for this AI Input is: …”).
Agent X
Section titled “Agent X”Agent X has no separate fee. A build costs:
- Competition data: 0.02 Xags per keyword.
- The AI prices for the SEO, content and schema prompts for each group.
Agent X shows you the total and asks you to confirm before it runs.
Rank Tracker
Section titled “Rank Tracker”| Action | Cost |

- A rank check costs the same at any depth.
- Daily tracking works out to about 0.09 Xags per keyword per month.
- Scheduled checks are skipped, and not charged, when your balance is too low.
- Keywords pushed into Rank Tracker from Xagio Studio cost the same: 0.03 to add and 0.003 per check.
Websites

- Indexation check: runs on your schedule. A 24-hour schedule costs about 0.30 Xags per site per month, and a 48-hour schedule about 0.15.
- DR/UR refresh: charged only when the refresh succeeds.

- The first month is charged when the site is deployed. After that, each site is billed monthly on the day it was created.
- If a site never finishes setting up and you terminate it, its Xags are refunded.
- Republishing a Studio site that is already paid for is free.
Templates
Section titled “Templates”Claiming a Xagio template uses a template credit, not Xags. Your plan’s monthly template credits are used first, then any permanent credits.
Xagio Studio
Section titled “Xagio Studio”Studio charges two kinds of prices:
- Data prices (marked fixed below) are set amounts.
- AI prices (marked about) depend on the real AI work for your project. The figure shown is a typical price, and your cost can be higher or lower.

You need at least 50 Xags to start a build. With less, Studio shows “Building a site takes more XAGS than you have right now”.
Editor

You need at least 2 Xags to send the first AI Chat message on a project. This is a balance check, not a charge.
Using your own OpenAI key
Section titled “Using your own OpenAI key”With your own OpenAI key, Studio’s AI stages cost 0 Xags. Data stages are charged as normal. There is no platform fee per site build.
Download and publish
Section titled “Download and publish”- ZIP download: free. Schema for pages without it is charged.
- Publish: Studio charges only for schema. The first month of hosting is charged when you publish, at your plan’s hosting price above. Republishing a site that is already paid for is free.
