Xagio templates vs WordPress themes
Xagio templates are complete, pre-designed websites. A WordPress theme sets the general look of a site, but you still build each page’s layout yourself. A Xagio template installs finished pages with the layout, colors, buttons and images already in place, so you mostly replace the text.
What a template gives you
Section titled “What a template gives you”- Finished pages built for a type of business, with placeholder text you replace with your own.
- A design you can preview before you claim it.
- Pages you can copy to add more, for example another service page.
Templates come in two versions:
- Gutenberg: built with the WordPress block editor.
- Elementor: built with the Elementor page builder.
Some templates have both versions. Each template card shows which versions it has.

Which version to pick
Section titled “Which version to pick”- Pick Gutenberg if you use the standard WordPress editor.
- Pick Elementor if you build pages with Elementor. When you install an Elementor template from the plugin, Elementor is installed for you if it is missing.
Installing a template overwrites the existing content it replaces on the site. Install on a new site or after a backup.
Template credits
Section titled “Template credits”You claim each template once with a template credit, then you can use it on any of your sites. Monthly claims come with your plan and refresh each month. Bonus claims never expire. See Claim and install templates.
