Buy a site

Sites priced up to $10,000 are bought through Stripe checkout. Your payment is held by Xagio, not sent to the seller, until you confirm the handover. Sites above $10,000 are sold with the help of the Xagio team.

Buy now (up to $10,000)

  1. Sign in and open the listing.
  2. Click Buy now and confirm.
  3. Pay on the Stripe checkout page. There is no buyer fee.
  4. You return to the deal page with “Thank you. Your payment is held by Xagio until you confirm the handover.”

The listing now shows Sale in progress. The seller has 7 days to hand everything over. See After you buy.

To pay for an accepted offer, click Pay (agreed price) on the listing, or Pay now on the deal page.

If you leave checkout, you see “Checkout cancelled. You can try again from the listing.” A checkout page expires after one hour.

Good to know

Section titled “Good to know”
  • The price is always the current asking price, or the agreed offer. If the seller lowered the asking price below an agreed offer before you paid, you pay the lower price.
  • If the listing stops being available after you pay, or you pay twice, the extra payment is refunded in full automatically.
  • Keep the deal on the Marketplace. Payments made outside the Marketplace are not protected.

Sites above $10,000: Contact us to buy

Listings priced above $10,000 have no checkout and no offer button.

  1. Open the listing and find Contact us to buy.
  2. Enter your name, e-mail, phone (optional) and a note about your budget, timing or questions. If you are signed in, your name and e-mail are filled in.
  3. Click Contact us to buy.

The Xagio team replies within one business day and arranges the payment, the handover and the paperwork with you and the seller. Payment terms are agreed in writing before anything changes hands. You don’t need to be signed in to send the request.

Proof of funds (optional)

Sellers answer buyers with verified funds first. When your funds are verified, sellers see a badge next to your offers, access requests and messages.

  1. Open Account & payouts and find Proof of funds.
  2. Enter the Amount available (USD), between $100 and $10,000,000.
  3. Attach a Statement (PDF, PNG or JPG, from the last 30 days) from your bank or brokerage, showing your name and balance.
  4. Add an optional note and click Send for review.

Xagio staff usually review statements within one business day. Only staff see the file. An approved statement is valid for 90 days, then deleted. To remove a statement, click Withdraw.

Troubleshooting

Section titled “Troubleshooting”
  • “You cannot buy your own listing.”
  • “This listing is not available.” The site is no longer live, or another buyer’s sale is in progress.
  • “The seller cannot receive payouts right now.” The seller has not finished payout setup. Try again later or message the seller.
  • “You already have a statement waiting for review.” Wait for the review, or withdraw it first.
