Schema groups
Schema groups keep your schemas organized. Most people use one group per website, so each site’s business details, services and FAQs stay together. Every schema you save belongs to a group.
Open schema groups
Section titled “Open schema groups”- In the sidebar, under BUILD, select Schemas.
- Next to Saved schemas, select the gear button (“Manage folders”). The Schema Groups window lists your groups with their ID and name.
Add a group
Section titled “Add a group”- In Schema Groups, select Add New Schema Group.
- In New Schema Group, enter a name, for example the site’s domain.
- Confirm.
Create a group for every website
Section titled “Create a group for every website”Select Import Groups from Websites and confirm. Xagio creates one group for each website in your account, named after its domain. Websites that already have a group with that name are skipped.
Remove a group
Section titled “Remove a group”- In Schema Groups, select the remove button next to the group.
- Confirm.
Removing a group from this window keeps its schemas. They stay in your account without a group, so assign them to another group when you next save them.
To delete a group together with all its schemas, right-click the group in the saved schemas list and select Remove.
Check and preview a whole group
Section titled “Check and preview a whole group”Select a group in the saved schemas list to open Render & Validate Schema! for that group. From there you can preview the code of every schema in the group and test them together. See Copy schema from another website and validate it.
What it costs
Section titled “What it costs”Schema groups are free.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- “You need to write some name!” Enter a group name.
- “Group with the same name already exists!” Pick a different name.
- “Specified group schemas does not exist.” The group has no schemas yet.
