After you buy: handover and confirmation
After you pay, the seller hands over the site on a checklist. You check each item on the deal page. Your payment stays with Xagio until you confirm, or until the confirmation window passes with no dispute.
Open the deal from Deals & offers in the sidebar, then click Open.
The timeline
Section titled “The timeline”- The seller has 7 days after your payment to complete the checklist.
- When every item is marked done, you have 72 hours to confirm or open a dispute.
- If you do nothing in those 72 hours, the payment releases to the seller automatically. The deal page shows the date: “If we hear nothing, the funds release automatically on …”.
- If the seller misses the 7-day deadline, Xagio staff are told automatically. They may give the seller one extension or refund you.
The checklist
Section titled “The checklist”Every deal has these items:
- Domain transferred to the buyer (registrar push or auth code)
- Hosting / DNS access handed over or site migrated
- Phone number and call tracking reassigned
- CRM, automations, form endpoints and other assets transferred
If the site runs on the seller’s Xagio Hosting or Studio, there is one more: Xagio Hosting / Studio site moved to the buyer’s Xagio account. Either of you clicks Ask Xagio to move it, and Xagio staff move the site to the Xagio account with the same e-mail you use on the Marketplace. Then check the site appears in your Xagio app.
Each item has a How to do it guide. For a domain push, tell the seller your registrar and account ID first.
Check each item
Section titled “Check each item”- When the seller marks an item done, read their note and evidence.
- If the item has protected details (an auth code or a login), click Reveal to see them. Only you can reveal them. They are erased 14 days after the deal closes, so save them somewhere safe.
- Check it yourself: the domain shows in your registrar account, the site loads from your hosting, a test call reaches you, a test lead arrives.
- Click I received this.
Report a problem with an item
Section titled “Report a problem with an item”- Click Report a problem.
- Under What is missing or wrong?, describe it (at least 10 characters).
- Click Send to the seller.
The item reopens and auto-release pauses. The seller gets at least 72 hours to fix it.
Need something that is not on the list? Type it in the box at the bottom of the checklist (for example “Google Business Profile ownership”) and click Ask for it. A deal can have up to 12 items.

Section titled “Confirm the handover”Confirm once you control the domain, hosting, phone number and the assets listed as included.
- Under Your decision, click Confirm handover & release payment.
- You see “Handover confirmed. The seller has been paid. Thank you!”
