Track rankings for a whole project
Once your site is live, you can send the keywords in your plan straight to Rank Tracker. You can send the whole project or a single group.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Set the project’s domain so it fills in for you. See Top 10 SERP lookup and project domain.
- Optional: set default search engines and a location on the project’s folder. Select the gear icon (Folder Settings) on the folder. These defaults fill in the tracking window.
- You need Xags for each keyword and search engine. See What it costs.
Send keywords to Rank Tracker
Section titled “Send keywords to Rank Tracker”- Open the project.
- Choose what to send:
- The whole project: Keywords > Track Rankings.
- One group: the group’s Actions menu, then Track Rankings. If you tick keywords first, only those are sent.
- In Track Keyword Rankings, check the Domain name (for example
https://yourwebsite.com). - Choose one or more search engines in Select Engine.
- Choose the Country and, optionally, a Location (city).
- Check the cost line and select Submit Keywords to Rank Tracker.
You see “Successfully added keyword to Rank Tracker.” The keywords now appear under that domain in Rank Tracker.
What it costs
Section titled “What it costs”- Adding keywords: 0.03 Xags per keyword, per search engine. Two engines cost twice as much.
- After that, each rank check costs 0.003 Xags per keyword, at any depth. Daily tracking works out to about 0.09 Xags per keyword per month.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- “No keywords found!”: the project or group has no keywords.
- “Please enter domain name!”: fill in Domain name.
- “Please enter search engine!”: choose at least one engine.
- “Invalid URL submitted. Please enter valid URL.”: enter a full domain such as
https://yourwebsite.com. - “You are trying to add N keywords, which costs N XAGS! You do not have enough XAGS to perform this operation.”: buy more Xags, or send fewer keywords or engines.
When you delete keywords, groups or projects in Project Planner, you can also remove their rankings from Rank Tracker with the box in the delete confirmation.
