Niche Hunter settings: search windows and domain TLDs
Niche Hunter has two settings, both under the Actions menu above the results table. They are saved to your account and apply to every hunt.
Google search windows
Section titled “Google search windows”Search keyword in Google (the Google icon in a result row) opens one browser tab per search type you turn on here. Use it to check the live results for a keyword by hand.
- Select Actions > Google Search Windows To Open.
- Turn on the searches you want:
- Broad: the keyword as typed.
- Phrase: the keyword in quotes.
- inTitle:
intitle:"keyword" - inURL:
inurl:"keyword"
- Select Save.
Nothing opens until you turn on at least one search type here.
When you use the Google button, Xagio first shows a notice: allow pop-ups for the panel in your browser, because several tabs open at once. Xagio picks the Google domain that matches the market of your hunt (for example google.co.uk for the United Kingdom).
Domain availability TLDs
Section titled “Domain availability TLDs”- Select Actions > Domain Availability TLDs.
- Choose the domain extensions you want checked (for example .com, .net, .co.uk).
- Select Save.
If you never save a list, the checker uses .com, .net and .org. See Check domain availability.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Nothing opens when you select the Google icon: turn on at least one search in Google Search Windows To Open, and allow pop-ups for the panel.
- Only one tab opens: your browser is blocking pop-ups. Allow them for the panel.
