Respond to offers and access requests
Buyers can offer less than your asking price and ask to see details you keep hidden. You answer both from the Selling pages.
Offers
Section titled “Offers”Buyers can offer from 50% of your asking price up to the asking price, with a $100 minimum. Offers are only possible on listings priced up to $10,000. Each offer or counter expires after 48 hours with no answer.
Offers waiting for you appear on My listings under Offers waiting for you, and on Deals & offers under Offers. You also get an e-mail.
For each offer you can:
- Accept: a deal opens at that price, waiting for the buyer’s payment through checkout.
- Counter: enter a new amount and click Send counter. Your counter can be any amount from $100 up to the asking price, but not the same as the buyer’s offer.
- Decline: add an optional reason and click Decline. The buyer can make a new offer.
If you countered and change your mind, click Withdraw while the counter is still open.
An accepted offer does not reserve the site until the buyer pays. Once they pay, the listing shows Sale in progress and the handover starts. See Hand over the site and get paid.
Due-diligence access requests
Section titled “Due-diligence access requests”If your domain is hidden, buyers ask for access from the Due diligence section of your listing. Approved buyers see the domain, the full screenshot and your proof files, and can download a ZIP data pack with the listing data, lead history, call and form events (phone numbers masked), rankings, traffic and proof files.
- Open Access requests in the sidebar (My listings also shows how many buyers are waiting; click Review requests).
- Read the buyer’s note. If they have verified proof of funds, a badge shows next to their name.
- Click Approve or Decline. The buyer gets an e-mail either way.
To take access back later, click Revoke. This also stops proof-file links the buyer saved. A declined buyer can ask again after 7 days.
The same page lists Your requests as a buyer, with Download pack for the ones that were approved.
