Top 10 SERP lookup and project domain
Each project can store the domain of the site it plans. Project Planner uses it to fill in the domain when you send keywords to Rank Tracker. The top 10 lookup shows which sites rank for your main keyword, so you can pick competitors to audit.
Set the project’s domain
Section titled “Set the project’s domain”- Open the project.
- Select Groups > Domain Name.
- Enter the domain (for example
yourwebsite.com). You can leave outhttps://. - Select Continue.
You see “Domain name updated successfully!” The next time you open Track Rankings, the Domain name field is filled in. See Track rankings for a whole project.
See the top 10 results for a keyword
Section titled “See the top 10 results for a keyword”The top 10 lookup is a step in the AI Wizard.
- Open a folder and select AI Wizard.
- Choose Global or Local and answer the first two questions. For Local, you also choose the Search Engine (for example google.com, United States/English).
- Check the Seed Keyword for your website and select Search.
Xagio shows the top 10 organic Google results for that keyword, with each page’s title, link and description. Home pages are marked as recommended. Directory and listing sites (for example Yelp, Facebook, Angi and Yellow Pages) are marked as not recommended, because they rarely make good models for a new site.
From there you can tick sites and select Finish to audit them into a project. See Audit a website to build a project.
