Order a dedicated server

A dedicated server gives your sites their own isolated CPU, RAM and disk. Xagio sets it up and maintains it. Once it is built, it shows up as a deploy target when you add a site in Hosting. Dedicated servers are paid by card through Stripe, not in Xags.

Sites on your own dedicated server must use your own Cloudflare account. Save your Cloudflare API token first. See Use your own Cloudflare account.

  1. Open Hosting in the sidebar.
  2. Click Get a Dedicated Server.
  3. Choose Monthly (cancel any time) or Annual (pay once a year).
  4. Filter by All, AMD or Intel, and pick a server. Each server shows a rough count of websites it can hold. The cost per website is the monthly price spread over that count.
  5. Optional: add a note under Anything we should know?
  6. Click Continue to secure checkout and pay through Stripe.

After payment you see a confirmation that your payment was received. The server is built after payment, usually within one business day. You get an email when it is ready.

Website counts are a guide for typical small-business sites. Busy stores or high-traffic sites use more, so fewer fit.

If you need more RAM, bigger disks or a configuration that isn’t listed:

  1. Click Ask us for a custom quote.
  2. Describe what you need under What do you need?
  3. Click Send my request.

Click My Servers in Hosting to see your orders and their setup status. Click Order another to add another server.

In the setup wizard, under Where should we deploy this site?, pick your server instead of Shared hosting. Choose My Cloudflare account for DNS. See Host a website with Xagio.

  • “Add your Cloudflare API token before deploying to your own dedicated server.” Save your token, then continue.
  • “The selected hosting server is not available to your account.” The server is not ready yet, or belongs to another account. Check My Servers.
  • “We could not reach the server to confirm your payment. …” If you completed checkout, check My Servers again shortly, or contact support.
  • “No servers are available right now. Please check back shortly, …” No stock is listed. Ask for a custom quote instead.
