Move keyword groups between projects

Move a group when a set of keywords belongs in a different site plan. You can move one group or several at once, and you can keep a copy in the current project. Moving is free.

  1. Open the project.
  2. In the group, select the gear icon (Actions), then Move Group.
  3. In Move Group to a Project, choose the Folder.
  4. Choose the Project. To create a new project in that folder, type its name.
  5. Optional: turn on Keep a copy in the current project.
  6. Select Move.

When it is done, you see “Group has been moved to a selected project.”

  1. Tick the box next to each group name. To pick every group, select Groups > Select All Groups.
  2. Select Groups > Move Selected Groups.
  3. Choose the Folder and Project, set Keep a copy in the current project if you want, and select Move.

To move keywords rather than whole groups, tick the keywords, select Move Keywords, and pick or type the target group. This only works within the same project.

  • “Please select at least one group.”: tick at least one group before Move Selected Groups.
  • “Please select project!”: choose a project in the window.
  • “Folder does not exist, please make sure to select correct folder”: pick the folder again from the list.
