What happens to Xags when you upgrade, downgrade or cancel
Changing your plan can affect your xRenew balance. Your xBanks are never touched by a plan change. This page explains each case so you can decide before you switch.

Upgrade
Section titled “Upgrade”Moving to a bigger plan (for example Lite to Pro) or a longer billing period (for example monthly to annual) is an upgrade. You keep all of your xRenew, including what rolled over, and the new plan’s Xags are added on top.
Downgrade
Section titled “Downgrade”Moving to a smaller plan or a shorter billing period is a downgrade. Both count, even if only one of them changes. For example, Pro annual to Pro monthly is a downgrade.
When you downgrade, you lose the xRenew that rolled over from earlier periods. You then start with the new plan’s Xags for its first period.
Before you confirm a downgrade, Plans & Billing shows “You’ll lose your rolled-over xRenew” with the amount you would lose. You can choose Keep my Xags to stay on your plan, or Switch anyway.
Pausing stops billing for up to 60 days. Your xRenew balance is frozen: you keep it, but no new Xags are added while the plan is paused. While paused, your account can spend xBanks only.
Cancel
Section titled “Cancel”When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Until then, you can keep spending your xRenew. When the paid period ends, your remaining xRenew is removed and your account moves to the free plan.
Your xBanks stay on your account after you cancel, and you can keep spending them on any feature.
Failed payment or refund
Section titled “Failed payment or refund”If a renewal payment fails or a plan payment is refunded, your account moves to the free plan right away. The free plan has no xRenew, so your xRenew balance goes to 0. Your xBanks stay.
If you get a refund for an xBanks pack you bought in the Xagio Store, the xBanks from that pack are taken back in proportion to the money refunded. Xagio never takes back more than you still hold.
Hosted sites after a plan change
Section titled “Hosted sites after a plan change”Hosting keeps running after a plan ends, as long as your Xags can pay for it each month. If your Xags run out, your hosted sites are suspended until your balance covers them again. See the Hosting section for details.
